Cladosporium herbarum (Link) Fr. kao parazit bijelog jasena — biologija, ekologija i suzbijanje

U našoj zemlji često se zapažaju razne štete, na mnogim vrstama šumskog drveća, koje se pripisuju uticaju gljive Cladosporium herbarum (Link) Fr. Ovoj kosmopolitskoj vrsti nije do sada pridavano mnogo pažnje, jer je ona najčešće pominjana kao običan saprofit. Medjutim, posljednjih godina ova gljiva je dovodjena u vezu sa mnogim sušenjima sadnog materijala u šumskim rasadnicima, a njen značaj kao prouzrokovača obojenosti drveta (naročito parene bukovine) postaje sve izrazitiji u našoj praksi, gdje je redukcija vrijednosti napadnutog drveta znatna. U toku 1960. i 1961.godine zapaženo je intenzivno sušenje sadnica bijelog jasena u rasadnicima i mladim plantažama u Pančevačkom ritu. Poljoprivredni kombinat "Beograd", koji je upravljao ovim objektima, predložio je da se ovaj problem detaljnije prouči i ustanove uslovi nastanka ove pojave i efikasne mjere njenog suzbijanja. Prihvatio sam se ovog zadatka, a istraživanja, čiji se rezultati iznose u ovom radu, obavijena su u periodu od 1961. do 1964.godine.
