Research of damages from the horse chestnut leaf miner Cameraria ohridella Deschka and Dimić 1986, (Lep. Lithocolletidae) in the Sarajevo area

Abstract

UDK 595.78:582.746.56(497.6 Sarajevo)

The results of the analysis of the adversity of C. ohridella in the area of Sarajevo indicated that the surface of the mine on leafs of the horse chestnut is rather variable. The average surface of one mine was 250,57 mm2. The average length of the mine at the research area was 27,73 mm, and the width was 9,45 mm.   One larva of the horse chestnut leaf miner damages approximately 9,34% of the leaf surface.
